Today I will make my last post of this year and
the last of this subject; I will give my opinion about how did I like this
subject at university and the work done on the blog. First say that in general I’ve
never liked the English subject, since the high school until de university, but
in relation with the question, I think that this subject should teach something
related with our career, for example some technical language because many investigations
and news theories are written in English. But in general I like the work of
this semester, we had written and oral work also we had theoretical lessons and
participated work in class, I think that this is very complete. About the blog
work, personally it was a fun job, the last semester we made the same work and
in my opinion this activities work it because you can go practice periodically,
expanding our vocabulary, recalling certain structures and ways of how I can
express in English. Though at first was a new experience and fun, but ending
the semester around a bit monotonous and repetitive, where we always had to do
the same, with the difference of the issues.
About my English, I think that I need to improve
my vocabulary, specially the difference of the regular verbs with the irregular
verbs and the different temporal conjugations. Also, I need to improve my way
to think in English, because on occasions I still think in Spanish and I make
the work of translate, with the same structure if I was thinking in Spanish. So
I have to practice, may be reading books or papers in English.
Respect to my daily life and the relation with
my English, usually I don’t use this language; I don’t need it because everything
that I make in my daily life is in Spanish. The only that I put in practice of
this language is when I watch some movie or series in English so I try to punt
in practice my vocabulary and my knowledge about English.
