Final post

Today I will make my last post of this year and the last of this subject; I will give my opinion about how did I like this subject at university and the work done on the blog. First say that in general I’ve never liked the English subject, since the high school until de university, but in relation with the question, I think that this subject should teach something related with our career, for example some technical language because many investigations and news theories are written in English. But in general I like the work of this semester, we had written and oral work also we had theoretical lessons and participated work in class, I think that this is very complete. About the blog work, personally it was a fun job, the last semester we made the same work and in my opinion this activities work it because you can go practice periodically, expanding our vocabulary, recalling certain structures and ways of how I can express in English. Though at first was a new experience and fun, but ending the semester around a bit monotonous and repetitive, where we always had to do the same, with the difference of the issues.

About my English, I think that I need to improve my vocabulary, specially the difference of the regular verbs with the irregular verbs and the different temporal conjugations. Also, I need to improve my way to think in English, because on occasions I still think in Spanish and I make the work of translate, with the same structure if I was thinking in Spanish. So I have to practice, may be reading books or papers in English.

Respect to my daily life and the relation with my English, usually I don’t use this language; I don’t need it because everything that I make in my daily life is in Spanish. The only that I put in practice of this language is when I watch some movie or series in English so I try to punt in practice my vocabulary and my knowledge about English.

  

Future?...what is future??

Hello, today I’m going to talk about my future work prospects and what kind of preferences and aspects I would like to choose about my future job.

First say that I considerate two choices for my future. One of my choices is leave to the city and could cultivate the soil, preferable in some ecologic community or in some ground alone.  But if I can’t make that, I would like work in the public service and making classes. The first option, work in any municipality (preferable in a little city), ministries, intendencies, etc, where I would realize investigations works and providing some alternative for different social problems, in this aspect I would like to work with a interdisciplinary working group and then could intervene in a complete way. The second work that I would like realize is been university professor and could teach in a way that the student can learn the best that he/her could and the same time be a funny professor.

About the aspects that I would consider when I choosing my job, first the labor that I will make, must be something that help people or communities, in the case of be a professor, I could help to students to be more critical and learn to study and like public worker, I could help specific people with my investigation work, because with this I could see the problems and act. Second the working environment must be good and have to be that really I am and that the people don’t judge.

Finally, say that if I were in a interview and ask me my strengths and weaknesses I say that I’m a proactive person, I’m responsible, I have character and I don’t have afraid to handle troubles and take decisions.

Universidad de Chile

Hi!!, today I'm going to talk about my favorite football team, Universidad de Chile. This team it was founded in 1927 like "Club Universitario de deportes", in 1934 it changed the name to "club deportivo Universidad de Chile" and in 1938 the club entered to Asociación central de futbol and became a professional team.

The best time of Universidad de Chile was in the 60', the team named "Ballet Azul" won six championships and is remembered as one the best team ever in the history of Chie. after 25 years without winning any championship in 1994 could break the curse and get the championship. After that has won 9 championships and international cup called Sudamerican Cup (Universidad de Chile was the first team in the Chilean football history that has won this tournament), this last cup is won two years ago.

The archrival of Univerdidad de Chile is colo-colo. They have this rivalry for a long time and this is too big, to the point of kill for protect some of this two team. The last dead have place one month ago approximately in Valdivia after the last match between Universidad de Chile and colo-colo.

 Say that the last semester Universidad de Chile won two of three “Super Clásicos” making nine goals, one match was 5-0 and the other was 4-0. This results was historic and the people of Universidad de Chile and people of colo-colo never forget.

Talk about my, usually I go to the stadium to see and encourage my team, but the safety stadiums law stands that the people can encourage to the best way, this is really sad

How green am I?

The Humankind takes more than 10.000 years of existence, but in the last two century have done the most part of damage in a our history and today not exist a consciousness if we don’t care our planet, this will disappear in a few centuries. For that, the people must to learn environmentally friendly practices.

Where do the people learn it?. First in our home, the parents are the responsible of teach green practices to their children, second also the school have to teach this practice. Actually exist a few of organizations that promote green friendly practices. We can learn reading information in the internet. But the most important and the firs that we have to do is be responsible with our planet.

In my case, I incomported a little recycling habit, for example a tried to go to recycling factory once in a month, I tried to re-used the most think that I can, like bags, papers, cardboard boxes, etc. Also, in this year I started to use my bike again for try to not use cars or public transportation and this way could care the planet. Also I try to walk when I need to go nearby locations.   

I like to join or supported in any eco-organizations, but I don’t have the time, so I tried to promote green practice in my home, with my friends, even in the streets.

Our society are not missing anything if don’t implemented green practice, but the once that lose with this, is the future society, and our grandsons.

My piece of news that I select is about the re-election of Hugo Chavez and his victory.

Despite defying all odds, Hugo Chávez won the presidential elections this Sunday. With a close result compared to previous years elections, defeated his rival Caprille.

The National Electoral Council confirmed that the president claimed victory with 54.4% of votes v / s 44.9% by its rival. Thus, the margins have been reduced from 26% in 2006 to only 9.5%.

With this result Hugo Chavez will remain in power for more than 15 years, despite a coup, an oil strike, the substantial increase in murders

Accepting defeat, Caprille concurred with the large number of votes obtained and abide by the people's voice.

Meanwhile Hugo Chavez was elated with his victory, addressing people with these words: "The revolution has triumphed!" "Today we proved that democracy in Venezuela is one of the best democracies in the world, and we will continue to prove it. "For his part said that for the next six years would correct past mistakes and to thus achieve a true alternative to the current capitalist system.

My best holyday:

I have to say that I’ve travel a lot for my holidays in my entire life, so is too easy say that my best holiday was the last. I went to Bolivia in February with my girlfriend and six more friends. We started our travel en San Pedro de Atacama, we stay three days in this town because we had to waiting tow friends that had a problem. Then we crossed Chile in a tour which brought to Ayuni. When we arrived to Uyuni, we went immediately to El Salar de Uyuni, one of the world natural wonders. For my was a magical experience, this place is beautiful and recommendable for any.

Then, we went to La Paz, the capital of Bolivia. This is a big city, I remembered Valparaiso because La Paz had many hills. This city is so great, the food is so good and cheap, the people was very kind and the culture is beautiful, the only mad side of La Paz is there height.

The last place that we visited was Copacabana and the Sun Island. Is this place we visited a Maya’s ruins, we partied with many people of different country, even we swim in the Titicaca lake.

This travel during around 12 days and for my, was a excellent experience and I Known place that imagine never know.  

Hii everyone!! Today I’m going to talk about the best movie of all times, the Godfather.

The Godfather is an action movie, written by Mario Puzo and directed by Francis Ford Coppola in 1972.

The plot of this film is about of the Corleone family, one of the most important gangster families in New York. Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) - the godfather - has many conflicts with the other families, especially with Sollozzo family, how tried to kill Vito Corleone and killed Santino Corleone (James Caan), the eldest son of Vito.

After of a truce period, Vito Corleone dies because heart attack. Then, his youngest son Michael Corleone (Al Pacino), take the power of the Corleone Family and declares war to the Sollozzo and the rest of gangsters families of New York. Finally, he killed all the leaders of the other families, become in the new Godfather and the most powerful man in New York.

For my, the Godfather is a wonderful movie, the images are very well done, the dialogs are greats, the drama is perfect and the best movie based in a book.

I hope that you will see this movie, because is the best movie ever.
